Nikola Tesla
Nikola Tesla was a Serbian-American inventor, electrical engineer, and futurist best known for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current (AC) electricity supply system. Born in 1856 in what is now Croatia, Tesla was a child prodigy who studied engineering and physics at the Austrian Polytechnic School in Graz. After emigrating to the United States in 1884, Tesla worked for Thomas Edison and eventually started his own laboratory. Tesla is credited with inventing the first alternating current motor and transformer, as well as making significant contributions to the development of radio, television, and remote control technology. He also conducted groundbreaking experiments in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence. Tesla is also known for his eccentric lifestyle and his belief in the power of free energy. He was an advocate for renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power, and believed that electricity could be transmitted wi...
